Dr. Amit Haren Munshi has pursued state-of-the-art solar energy and materials engineering research for well over a decade and is among the most accomplished researchers in thin-film photovoltaics. A recipient of several international academic awards, he has been central to key innovations in the field — helping lead research-scale CdTe power conversion efficiency from roughly 11% to over 20%, and introducing new processes and materials families to solar PV research along the way.
